Public Affairs Office

Mission Statement

The Public Affairs Office helps develop, communicate and foster relationships between the Salt Lake City VA Healthcare System and the community.  This happens through a variety of ways including outreach, special events, media, congressional relationships and other internal and external communications.

Contact Us

We are always looking for more and better ways “to serve the veteran who served us.”  If you have an event, a story, an idea or even just a question we want to hear from you.

  • For questions concerning public relations or media inquiries, contact Jill Atwood, Director of Communications at 801-584-1252.

The Department of Veterans Affairs wants to make sure you stay connected during these challenging times. VA Video Connect allows you to talk to your provider from the comfort of your couch. It’s convenient and easy and all your fellow Veterans are doing it. Have a listen.
