Our Gender Identity Veteran Experience (GIVE) Program offers specialized, culturally sensitive, competent, and gender affirming medical, mental health, and daily living care for all eligible Transgender and Intersex veterans. We provide a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and treatment of Gender Dysphoria which includes a wide range of gender affirming medical, mental health, and daily living support.

GIVE Program Mission

The Gender Identity Veteran Experience (GIVE) Program is an interdisciplinary “medical and mental health home” serving all eligible veterans who are exploring or seeking to change any aspect of their gender identity. Our mission is to provide comprehensive primary care, mental health, daily living support, and hormonal care to veterans exploring their gender in a safe and welcoming environment. We assist veterans who are at any stage of their gender transition, from questioning to active treatment, to maintenance. We consider every veteran's unique journey within it's interdisciplinary, patient-centered, and trauma-informed context.
