Smoking Guidelines
Smoking is not permitted inside any VA facilities. For all our facilities, please extinguish your smoking materials at a reasonable distance from each building. Please use ashtrays located by each building to deposit unlit smoking materials such as cigarette wrappers and butts. To smoke, the medical center campus has outdoor smoking shelters on the campus. Oxygen tanks are not allowed in the smoking shelters as they create a flammable risk to oneself and others. Please report to VA Police at ext. 1414 any patients or visitors smoking while using oxygen.
